Health Information Technology Resources

Health Information Technology has the potential to improve health care quality, prevent medical errors, reduce health care costs, increase administrative efficiencies, decrease paperwork, and expand access to affordable health care. Organizations must ensure the privacy and security of electronic health information.
There are many resources to help health organizations learn about their opportunities and responsibilities in this field. MCAHEC is working with its partners to share information to help our stakeholders find quality resources to learn about HIT.
Listed below are links to health careers exploration, webinars, and national reports related to HIT. The various state, federal and national organizations that provide HIT information are included as well. MCAHEC welcomes suggestions for additional public resources.
