The Georgia Association of Occupational Health Nurses is made up of health professionals across the State of Georgia that provide care for the health and wellness needs of employees. They blend knowledge of health and business with healthcare expertise in order to promote a safe and healthy work environment for employees while managing the overall health and safety of the workplace in a cost-efficient manner. They are executives, insurance-pension specialists, bookkeepers, public relations practitioners, teachers, compliance officers, dieticians, case managers, and statisticians as well as nurses. As the largest group of health care providers serving the workplace, occupational and environmental health nurses positively impact the health and safety of the millions of people who work every day.
